3/3/2021 people who say they are leftists are not talking anymore about women's struggles in pregnancy, childbirth, childbearing, abortion, miscarriagesRead Now I'm a Brazilian Journalist who has been an activist for human's rights since ever. At 14 years old, I was already on a march for the impeachment of a corrupt president, who were simply increasing poverty levels in my country with his politics. When I voted, it was always for left wing candidates on all levels. I became an activist for birthing women in 2012, fighting against obstetric violence for Brazilian women. Now, the left has left women for good. They no longer fight for women's rights. Instead, they keep championing males who identify as women for strategic positions in politics, widening the sex gap in political representation instead of reducing it. I started a twitter thread in August 2019 focusing on female issues to determine the root of women's oppression by men. It became very clear, very soon, that women are oppressed because they are born with the female anatomy, which is the only one that can potentially bear children. Women's ability to gestate is exploited by men at every turn, turning females into walking incubators and dehumanizing them. I am now trying to spread the feminist theory through a book called The Grumpy Guide to Radical Feminism, where I explain, with supporting quotes from feminist theorists, the root of women's oppression to whoever is still ill informed about the power structure that is patriarchy. This sect of leftists like to call themselves progressive by replacing women with males who identify as women. Meanwhile, these same people who say they are leftists are not talking anymore about women's struggles in pregnancy, childbirth, childbearing, abortion, miscarriages. They also say that the Grumpy Guide to Radical Feminism is not "aligned with their politics". Which begs the question of what are, in reality, their politics. By replacing women for biological males, leftists are keeping women behind, in a place of servitude, which by no means feels "progressive".
Andreia Nobre 2/28/2021 I've woken up to the fact that the Democratic Party is not the party of women as I naively thought it wasRead Now I'm a woman with a doctorate and a career in a male-dominated field. I'm an atheist. I'm a thinker. I believe that everyone should have equal rights.
I take my right to vote seriously. I'm registered as an independent because I don't like the idea of being a member of one party. I also consider myself an independent voter, but have voted for Democrats in every presidential election since I was 18. Gender ideology has opened my eyes. I now subscribe to the WSJ as well as the NYT. I actually prefer the Journal. I feel as though I've woken up to the fact that the Democratic Party is not the party of women as I naively thought it was. The left claims to be the party that doesn't deny science. But the left is denying the most basic scientific concept: that there are two sexes in humans. There are biological reasons that women need protections. There are biological reasons that women play on their own sports teams. There are biological reasons for separating changing rooms and prisons. Unless something changes, my votes in future elections will be much different. |
